everything went ridiculously smooth. i asked the city of san francisco to welcome me and make my move as easy as possible, and my wish was totally granted. parking worked out great, i finally met my other roommate ted, who helped as well. we had it all done in no time.
that evening we went over to friend pete’s house. he went to ups and lives in the haight district. the party was a going away party for his roommate brad, also from ups, who’s leaving to go to grad school at ucsb. i’m not generally super-excited for parties, but we were able to get there before any partying had begun, ate dinner and relaxed. most of the people who came i didn’t know, but many i did and it turned into an impromptu ups reunion, which was such a pleasant surprise. after we’d had enough party, we went back to sebastopol for my last night on the farm.
party times with melissa and pat, an amazing entry way to an apartment building.
that's right. the guy behind me is wearing a shirt that says 'i <3 hot moms'. classy.
