the list of life. what i must do before i leave this mortal coil. (inspired by janeysalinger.blogspot.com)

(i'm constantly adding to this one. hopefully soon i'll be able to check things off, too.)

1. find a place for my kitties that i feel good about.
2. grow something important.
3. sew a garment for something important.
4. be a part of 'this american life'.
5. make a film.
6. animate something.
7. play in a band. and learn to 'jam'.
8. hug oprah. and tell her how incredible she is and ask HER questions.
9. meet a famous person that i love and not act like a blubbering idiot. possibly oprah.
10. find the person who smells like home. and asks me to dance.
11. make everyone i love understand how much i love them.
12. reverse the plastic crisis in my tiny corner of the world.
13. make something inspirational.
14. take part in a massive correographed dance
15. take part in a major motion picture as an extra or on the crew. BOTH!
16. walk the red carpet and have no one know who i am. with my sister as my date.
17. feed a giraffe out of my hand.
18. make a drawing/painting/photograph/poem every day for a year.
19. travel and document the festivals of the world with those dearest to me on the greatest adventure.
20. auction my paintings to my loved ones, travel around and hand deliver them while making a documentary.
21. join 'team raccoon' at greenwood.
22. ride my bike to work so often i don't remember the last time i drove.
23. never knowingly kill a bug again. instead capture and release.
24. live in the deep south for the summer, to see how they DO it.
25. own a vespa.
25. have an airstream. with kitties.
25. make true portraits of those i love. and love many.
26. be a jazz singer. if only for one song. and not karaoke.
27. learn to swing dance.
28. return to glasgow.
29. be as near to my niece/nephew as possible.
30. hang glide.
31. re-new my scuba diving ceritification.
32. get rid of most of my crap.
33. conquer my acne. is it all in perspective and attitude? hmm...
34. go back to seattle for some weeks.
35. have as many dance parties as possible. dance to a song every day.
36. ride horses to a point of comfort and 'loping'.
37. spend a day tubing on a lazy river with loves.
38. preside over a marraige or two. (i'm a certified minister).
39. write a song/collaborate with dad on his banjo and my cello.
40. have a cousin reunion.
41. get a camera that doesn't infuriate me.
42. learn enough spanish, italian, german and portugese to get by.
43. become much better at french. okay, fluent.
44. learn sign language.
45. assume no longer.
46. trust myself.
47. leave more cello messages.
48. start a cello inspired group on flickr. with jane.
49. find fulfillment in my job.
50. wear minimal daily make up.
51. go out with friends as often as possible.
53. finish all promised artistic projects, then paint for myself alone. and give/trade my pieces away.
54. cook an amazing meal for mom and dad. for a picnic.
55. have my whole head in finger waves.
56. take a trip with my sister.
57. volunteer/intern with a bee-keeper.
58. see a red panda and a snow leopard in their natural habitats.
59. collaborate with mark again.
60. participate in the seattle solstice parade or something equally as crazy. on stilts.
61. visit lauren in durango this summer and gift her something wonderful.
62. live in a non-western country for longer than i think i can.
63. become an immigrant.
64. spend a new year's eve in iceland.
65. apply for a grant.
66. receive a grant.
67. live in new york city.
68. go salsa dancing. as often as possible.
69. take a belly dancing class.
70. take part in cool 'performance art' pieces like being frozen in grand central station.


that's enough for tonite, for now i must sleep. it's 4.36am and i must wake to feed baby birds and face off against pelicans who are so treacherous, and huge. and awesome.

    From what the article on snow leopards in the June 2008 issue of National Geographic says, this is nearly impossible.
