here's some more examples of what happens in grad school for me.

my victorian sitting room with shadows. it's amazing how much it adds to the scene. i wasn't sure how well i did on this drawing, but my instructor gave me a b+ which is pretty phenomenal for him, i thought. (pats self on back)

this is shadows on my street scene, photographed badly. i'm not sure what i got on this one. i'm a little afraid to look.
figure drawings now: these poses are anywhere from 5 min to 20 min. most of them are around the 5-10 min mark, i think. the ones with more value are longer.
this is from the first day. and these are all from day 2. it was a good drawing day for me.

the rest are from days between day 2 and now.
i haven't had a chance to catch up reading all this, but i've enjoyed my cursory glance and will return. just wanted to say i was looking at the blogs you follow and was like "what annoying idiot has (<br><p align="left">i eat dirt</p>) as a blog title!?" and...it was me! i'm the worst! it's because of the stupid 'align left' html.
ReplyDeleteand ps, what's the facial hair conversation? apparently i need to be having it with some guys.
